Last updated in 2017, the Honda City still looks fresh and appealing. The cabin is also inviting as ever and leather embellishments on top-spec trims up the ambience. Quality is still a mixed bag and not everyone is a fan of the asymmetric dashboard, but if there’s one area where the City excels, its comfort. The seats are supremely comfortable and rear seat legroom is exceptional.<br/>Keen drivers will love the 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine’s rev-happy nature that’s best enjoyed with the 5-speed manual. Low-speed responses aren’t the best, however. The petrol-CVT auto works well and the standard fit paddleshifters are a nice inclusion. Honda’s 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel offers fantastic driveability and fuel economy but is noisy. The City feels quite nice in the bends but the ride is never completely settled.
