The Bentley Bentayga has immense presence but the jury is still out on its look. Love it or loathe it, you won’t confuse a Bentayga for anything else. On the inside, the winged dash links the cabin to other Bentleys and quality is fantastic, save for a few less-than-special buttons. Buyers can have their Bentaygas’ cabins trimmed in the materials and colours of their choice, and there’s a long list of feature upgrades on offer too. We’d pick the individual rear seating package that offers throne-like comfort at the back. A third row of seats is an option too.<br>The Bentayga’s range-topping W12 engine is mega but it feels excessive in light of the V8 petrol that offers similar real-world performance. The V8 diesel, on the other hand, impresses for its superb pulling power and refinement, but in this price band, it’s not the engine of choice.
